Christine & Jamie’s Ohana Camp Wedding Weekend

Christine and Jamie’s wedding was a three day community focused event at Ohana Camp, one of my favorite classic summer camps in Vermont. Friday evening featured an outdoor barbecue followed by a contra dance. I was in Rhode Island photographing another wedding that first night, but I was lucky enough to have Hannah Photography photograph this for me. The wedding day consisted of free time for guests to swim and enjoy the camp in the morning which Jamy Beecher Photography helped me out with. A wedding ceremony and reception followed that included giant Jenga, dancing, and entertainment for the many children attending. Christine told her floral designer Morgan Perrone of Valley Flower Company to “Think about a little girl collecting things in the woods – that’s what I want to look like” when making her a flower crown and veil. On Sunday there was a brunch with a Bloody Mary bar, and guests participated in camp activities on Sunday to earn custom printed merit badges. Christine is a graphic designer and designed the stationary for invitations and activities as well as the tables for the reception. Venue: Ohana Camp; Event design by Christine (the Bride); Floral design: Valley Flower Company; Catering: Barefoot Gourmet; Dessert: Umplebys; Music: Beat Train Productions; Bride’s Gown: Saja; Groom’s attire: Maxwell’s Clothiers; Birds of pray demo: Vermont Institute of Natural Science; Contra Dance Caller: David Millstone; BBQ: Barebones; Bartenders: Phat Kats Tavern
