2016-2017 Biennial Part One

I like to spend some time in between wedding seasons picking out some favorite images from the past season. I did not do so last year, so I decided to do a biennial this year and pick out a set of favorites from 2016 and 2017, covering close to 50 weddings. It is always a difficult process to pick out what I think are the best examples the way I see things, but it is a very helpful thing for me to do to┬áprepare for this season’s upcoming weddings. Although most of the weddings I photograph take place in my home state of Vermont and neighboring New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and New York, I have also travelled to Washington, D.C., Florida, Wyoming and California during this time. Part one of this set includes photographs taken earlier in the wedding day including pre-wedding fun activities, preparations for the ceremony, portraits, as well as the wedding ceremony and it’s aftermath. When you get to the end of this, check out part two.
